Hello dear Fellows,

I have one confusion that needs to be clarified my friends.

We see lots of "Project Management Plan Updates" and "Project Documents Updates" as outputs to many processes..

Those updates are created ONLY for which reason of the below? both?

-A change request was initated by the Project Manager and after getting it approved in Perform intergrated change control, there may be a need to update the "Project Management Plan Updates" and/or "Project Documents Updates .

-Not necessary to have a change request, they can be updated by the Project Manager when necessary during a process utilization.

I persoannly prefer the first choice.

Please refer me to a clause in PMBOK that supports your answers.
