Please check this question for TCPI from Pmstudy.

My ans came as 1.(i considered atypical variance to calculate TCPI)

So I wanted to conform here,

when there is no specification of the scenario we should go for BAC/CPI for EAC calculation?

Please let me know.

Yes both answer may true , bks how will be the future performance of project - typical or Atypical - is not mentioned,

If no deviations are mentioned, assume the project is going well under a good PM!

So EAC = BAC / CPI
