-----------------------------------------------------------

About Today. It is a Holy Day for me.

Exam Date: 13/02

Year :  2013

Exam time: 1230

I see only 0123 numbers in all. Amazing.

-----------------------------------------------------------

My Profile

I am 36 years young guy from New Delhi

Btech, MBA Operations, MBA Supply chain management, PMP, ITILv3

12 years of experience in Supply chain management and project management.

PMP was one of the easist exams in my whole career. i dont know why people make such a huawa out of it. that is very sad.

----------------------------------------------------------

I would like to suggest you 2 mantras for today that will easily let you pass the exam.

Study Only PMBOK. like just drink it. clear all the fundas from the PMBOK. xam is very easy if you read it thoroughly.

Rita is a very good book to add on to PMBOK.

PM study is the closest exam that comes to PMP exam.

i had studied PMBOK 3 times and Rita 2 times.

had practiced around 5000 questions from all websites.

3 days ago i practiced Pmstudy exam free and found it was so easy. i was wondering if i am being made a fool because i ad practiced so many difficult questions including oliver lehman. But the reality is simple. PMP exam is very close to Pmstudy exam.

ETC = EAC-AC
ETC = BAC-EV
ETC = (BAC-EV) / CPI

VAC = BAC– EAC
CPI = EV / AC
SPI = EV / PV

No variances from the BAC have occurred or are expected to continue at the same rate of spending: EAC=BAC/CPI.(This is the formula most often required on the exam)

Original estimate was fundamentally flawed or conditions have changed and invalidated original estimating assumptions: EAC =AC+ETC

Current variances are thought to be atypical in the future. EAC =AC+BAC-EV

Current variances are thought to be typical in the future. EAC =AC+((BAC-EV) / CPI)

ETC = New estimate when it is thought that the original estimate was flawed.

When u know that the proj can meet BAC u use TCPI = (BAC - EV)/(BAC-AC)

When you know that you cannot meet BAC at finish you try to meet EAC and use

 (BAC - EV) /(EAC-AC)

PTA = ((Ceiling Price - Target Price)/buyer's Share Ratio) + Target Cost

Total Float = LS - ES
Total Float = LF - EF
Free Float = ES of successor activity - EF of current activity. Free float can only occur when two or more activities share a common successor.

activity duration = Late Finish - Late Start +1
FreeFloat =  Earliest ES of Following Activity - ES of Present Activity - Duration of Present Activity

weighted average is (Pessimistic + (4 * Most Likely) + Optimistic) / 6
Variance = ((Pessimistic - Optimistic) / 6)^2
standard deviation = (Pessimistic - Optimistic) / 6.

FV = PV * (1+r)^n

Order of Magnitude estimate = -25% to +75%; Preliminary estimate= -15% to + 50%; Budget estimate = -10% to +25%; Definitive estimate = -5% to+10%; Final estimate = 0%.

The mode is the most frequent value in a data set

1 Sigma = 68.26%. 2 Sigma = 95.46%, 3 Sigma =99.73% and 6 Sigma =99.99%.

Hello Amber

Good Luck for your exam

I was scoring around 60-70% but later this percentage increased to 80%.

I would like to suggest that mock exams dont matter. main is knowledge about fundamentals of various areas.

in exam there were will be so simple questions but with so close answers that you will get bogged down.

Didnt see any PTA questions

maths questions are easily solvable

 Congrats man!.

 Great Move!

 Congratulation!! and thanks for sharing your experience.

congrat my friend.
