What is the EAC for the project

Activity A is worth $800, is 100% complete, and actually cost $800. Activity B is worth $300, is 90% complete, and actually cost $480 so far. Activity C is worth $800, is 75% complete, and has cost $700 so far. The total budget is $4,000. What is the estimate at completion for the project?

 A. $4,761.91

B. $4,742.52

C. $4,742.54

D. $4,705.88

Here the question did not specify whether there is variance from BAC (EAC=BAC/CPI) or whether the variance are either typical(EAC= AC + [ (BAC - EV) / CPI*SPI ] or atypical of the future (in which sace EAC = AC + (BAC -EV) .

How do we know which EAC formular to use?

B is correct.

Just sum up AC and EV and calculate CPI. Then use EAC = BAC/CPI and you got it. Since there is nothing stated about the future expectations the current variance will be used for the future... -> BAC/CPI

 IN THE SAME WAY AS EARLIER POST

HERE  NO ONE ANSWER WILL MACH.

ANS WOULD BE  =   4366.67

why that? how do you calculate?

 if total AC = 800+480+700 = 1980

against EV = 800+270+600 = 1670

CPI = 1670/1980 = .843434

EAC = 4000/0.843434 = 4742.52

thus OPTION  B , may be answer

but I was following PMBOK pattern of  table 10-15, working out individual (as calculated in eralier example)
