Passed PMP - Some best practices and lessons learnt

Firstly thanks to PMzilla. It helped me a lot to understand the exam pattern and also reduced my exam stress ( read so many before exam tips from forum) .  I attempted all free mock exams and I scored around 70 to 78%.

I suggest you to go through each question thoroughly and try to understand what they are expecting and map with process. I tried this approach and worked for me.

Please more focus on Change request/control, lessons learned, project closure and Team building related questions.

I didn’t see (may be not observed) any questions related to social responsibility. Memorizing all ITTO is very useful to answer the question quickly.

Just before one day, I had brief study of PMbok completely which helped in recollecting all the question patterns within the mock exams.

Do as many as mock tests and try to understand the concepts thoroughly. All the best.

Regards,

Sai.

Oliver Lehmann's 175 questions and 75 questions are very useful to know our depth in each process. I appreciate that the mapping of answers to PMbok 4th edition page numbers. I had gone through PMbok thoroughly and marked all important points in the book.

Congratulations, Sai

Besides  Oliver Lehmann's questions, what other free mock exams you used  and also which book did you use for preparation.

Congratulations again..

Thanks

Nancy
