The question most people have asked here is whether 7th editon is required or 6th Edition is enough the answer is 6th is sufficient for current exam content. Along with PMBoK Rita's book is a plus and brings in different perspective. So better to go for it.
PmZilla Admin has given you very right advice. I am also a PMP, but I don't give any tips to study and follow different books, because honestly I do not really know what I answered correctly and passed the PMP because PMI does not revel its question and answer. You confusion is valid and its because of your plans, you have started trusting thousand of advice instead of making a firm plan that you trust. Believe in you and you will have confidence. Question yourself, has PMBok changed? The answer is NO, then why new Rita's book edition? You should know for sure, PMI does not follow Rita's book. You may read some other book that is based on PMBok 4th edition, but make sure not more than once. Read PMBoK many times and try to visualise things and related your study to the real life project management experiences. PMI has clearly stated that their questions are also impacted by psychometric analysis. Link inputs, tools & Tech and Output of all process group and relate it to some real life experiences.
