Passed PMP Exam this Morning 12/21/2011
I started preparing for the exam in late August. The exam took me 3.5 hours to complete. I read every question numerous times to identify keywords and for understanding. I would read the questions aloud (whispering) to slow the thinking process. I would even place my pencil on each word of the question. I controlled the test although I missed a good number of questions.
My comments -
1. Questions in some instances were poorly worded or vague.
2. Many questions had two right answers.
3. Situation Questions required understanding of Project Integration. You must know where you are in the processes in order to answer correctly.
4. Concentration is an absolute must. If you get tired and let your focus slip, your chances are greater of missing a question.
5. I did not have to perform a "Brain Dump" for the numerous formulas. You should be able to conceptualize the formulas when needed. Project Time and Cost questions must be gimmees to minimize the damage of answering Situational or Vague questions incorrectly.
My Study Material (other than the PMI PMBOK, which must be read over and over and referred to when reviewing tpractice test) -
1. Project Management Course - PMStudy.
2. PM Study Exams (all four)
3. Rita Mulcahy - PM Exam Prep Book (After Studying each Chapter I would take the end of Chapter test along with realitve questions from PM Practice Test & Study Guide
4. PM Practice Test & Study Guide (Ward &Levin)
5. PMZilla Tough Question Exam 275 Questions (Very Good)
6. Velociteach New Practice Test A (Very Tough Exam and great last minute prep for exam material).
You must carfully review and practice the above material in order to become competent , at least in my case.
I hope this helps and Good Luck if you are preparing to take test.

Yes
Once you submit the exam you will get a waiting screen (say for 5 minutes) then an optional survey module would come (you can skip too), once survey is ended/exited you will see the result on screen.
