Question on Procurement closure

Two team members are currently documenting and verifying the product, while two other team members are updating records, performing an audit and archiving lessons learned. Whatr activity are the team members engaged in?

A) Administer Procurements

B) Close Procurements

C) Close project or phase

D) Conduct Procurements

My ans is B. But the correct ans is C. Any explanations? Pls help.

The options B and C are

The options B and C are really confusing and at a first glance I also thought option B is the right answer as question talks about product verification and perofrming an audit which are in Close procurment Process.

But if we look at the options carefully ie. Option C) Close project or phase which states that It is the process of finalizing all activities across all of the management process groups to formally complete
the project or phase.

If you notice the inputs of Close Project ii.e OPA which contains project audits , project closure information and since Close project states that It is the process of finalizing all activities across all of the management process i.e it also covers the Procurement Process.

Also nowhere it is mentioned that this process is being performed in Procurement KA and it talks about Closing so the option is C.

This is my reasoning for the option C, I would welcome other members to give thier feedbacks.

Where did you come accross this question as some of our members are intrested to know source of this type of confusing questions which might help them to prepare for the exam.
