Cleared PMP on 11th August- First attempt!

Hi All,

Wanted to give a big thanks to everyone on the forum, it has been of great help during my journey of preparing for PMP.

It's a great feeling after so much hard work put in to the preparation.

The exam was no too hard and not too easy either. The maths based questions were very very simple, but there were hardly 5-6 of them, most of the exam consisted of situational questions.

I didn't have any time crunch and the reason for that I believe is that I had done too many sample questions so may be my ability to read and comprehend questions and become quick.

Not that the questions in the exams were the same as the sample tests, but I believe you get in the frame of taking tests and definitely speeds up the ability to answer questions.

Thanks once again to everyone for all the help and all the very best to all the PMP aspirants!

Thanks

Congratulations and Enjoy the moment!

Hi Nidhi:

Kudos on achieving the coveted PMP! Great Stuff.

Did you get any question on forward or backward pass related to Time Management? I am facing a lot of problem in comprehending the same.

I have not read PMBOK in full (just in tids and bits) but have read Rita, Crowe, Head 1st, PMI articles on its website. Do you feel not a reading PMBOK word-for-word would be an eventual  handicap. I practice close to 100 questions everyday, essentially from Rita and uCertify. I am getting close to 80-85% in the practice tests. I target 100 and when I dont get I feel let down!

Savour the moment and enjoy to the fullest!!!

Best,
