# of questions on PMP test
Submitted by kkalsamguy on Fri, 08/05/2011 - 04:05
I just failed PMP test today. from the several preps, i scored over 80% but they were useless at this point. I should have considered the test more seriously.
By the way, how many test questions do we have on PMP test? today, i had total of 275 questions, so i was somewhat nervous managing the time. Any who recently took the test, please let me know how many total questions you had.
Thanks~

# Of Questions on PMP Test
Sorry Friend to hear that you did not pass your exam. The same thing happened to me July when I wrote this exam. Even though I did not pass the test, the total number of questions that I had to tackle was 200 in total. So it sound rather strange that you will have 275 questions to answer, not unless PMI has now changed the number of questions to be answered. I will be writing this exam again in two weeks and will let you know how many questions that I had.
All that I can say to you is that don't give up. Study hard and you will make it the second time around.
Cheers,
E

Contact customer service
You can contact the customer service and ask if anything changed. They are very helpful.
If you read the PMP handbook there is also an appeals process, mention the # questions to them and ask if you are eligible for the appeals process.

issue resolved
Thanks for your advices. I just got a confirmation email from PMI saying that there was a technical issue at Prometric, so 275 questions instead of 200 were presented to me. They provided me with new eligibility to take a exam, I already spent 4 hours driving plus 4 hours testing effort though. Anyway, i just wanted to let his know you guys. thanks.
