Exam Mock Test Results

Dear Friends.


I am silent Member of this forum.


I am scoring 85% on Andy Crowe , 80% in CentralExam and around 60% in Rita.I have schedule the test this week.


Please Guide me , whether i Should take the test or not , or should i postpond it for another week taking back the Rita Test.

" 60% in Rita" do you mean PM prepsimulator , or results from Questions at the end of each chapter ?

No Whole Rita Exam


Next time i took it i score around 74%.


wat should i do.


Exam is due on Monday

74% is good score for Ritas mock test according to me.

If you are not in a hurry, you should try 2-3 more mocks either from Rita or other sources

to get minimum 74% score, If yes you can go ahead.

(Again these are my views. I am not yet certified, there are other experts here who can answer better)

I just got certified this week. I bought Rita software and extensively did tests by process/work area and whole PMP exams. I constantly scored 75% and went for test on May 26th, then I failed. I figured out  that, I must have failed in narrow margin. I came back worked on concepts thoroughly and went back on June 9th, and successfully complted. Here is my point::


Since you are trying variety of exams, make sure that you see some consistency. If you are scoring 75% + in other exams, you should be coming atleast close to 70%. It appears that, you are very comfortable in certain exam pattern (definitely not Rita's pattern).


Here is my tip for you and should work. Just go back to those tests you have already taken. Work on those which you got them wrong in first place.  Make sure you undestand why you missed them. Once you get the concept right, you might answer 10 more. A simple concept will have very subsequent affect on so many questions.


The good news is, the exam questions are very simple and very straighforward but very tricky. As many mentioned, you can easily eliminate 2 wrong anwers. But, you have to pick up the best anwer. Unless you wear 'PMBOK' Hat, it is hard to get them right.


I have seen many people mentioning score in variety of exams. I have taken them to just for the practice of sitting 4 hours in exam hall. Ultimately the concepts strength, that will take you to the success path. May be you can look at my other posting where I shared few ideas. I will continue to monitor this website and hope to share some tips.
