Preparatory Material for PMP exam?

Hi,

Recently i appeared for the exam and couldn't pass. I prepared twice from the RITA Mulahay book as prescribed by my instructor at coaching institute in Qatar. Also, one time from PMBOK.

Also, for questions i used RITA V.8 simulator, but i couldn't find these of any help. The questions asked in actual exams is quite different. 

Is there anyone who has cleared PMP recently and can guide me how to prepare?

That is sad but don't worry. You will have better luck next time.

You should start with determining what was the reason for not getting through. You must determine the root cause of failing. I have written a post titled 15 Reasons Why People Failed the PMP Exam. You should read this post. This will help you in determining the root cause.

After reading the post, give yourself some time and and think about each point. If required, you should change your study approach or take another training or study different books.

I highly recommend the PMPrepcast videos & simulation exams, apparently they are the closest to the "real thing".
