im under audit process
hey there
this is my 1st post with the worst news ever :(
after preparing my PMP study and doing all the tips/tricks , books ...etc
when im just 100% ready to take the exam im UNDER AUDIT !
i have now few questions regarding that please :
1) for my university certificate , as its in another country , can i let the people there scan it and send it to me then ill print it and put it in an envelope ?
2) regarding my PMI institute they provided me with an electronic attendance certificate , is that enough or i need them to send me a signed certificate ?
3) the most important question is related to the experience verification forms , i read on pmi that there are 2 things something called experience verification form ( the PDF you download from their website related to the app form you applied already ) , and something called experience record ,what is that exactly ?
now do i need to take each PDF , print out , go to the client or the guy which his name is mentioned , let him tick i agree box on that PDF paper , and write down his details in his own handwriting then sign then put it in an envelope and sign the front of that envelope as well ( definitely this will have 2 signatures then for each envelope ) and each form must be in its own envelope ??!?!?
so if i have 9 PDF forms to download from pmi site related to my app form ill have 9 envelopes ?
4) does the envelope need to have the logo of the company or a plain brown envelope or white one is more than enough ?
your urgent input is highly recommended in order to submit all the required info in less than a week as this is delaying my study and i started to forget my stuff :(

About Audit process
I dont know how to go about the situation you are in. Surely its nerve racking.
BTW :When did you turn in your application and in how days did you get this response.
On the net I got this info...did you happen to follow through in the same lines as mentioned in the site.

of course you cant change
of course you cant change refrences , again the worst case scenario is your money is flushed away and you just apply from scratch ! to be honest this audit process is silly :D
simply i got a membership , then after 10 days applied for my app , then after an additional 10 days i paid for the exam and here we are
PS : my friend did exactly what i did and he isnt audited :D , its just my bad luck lol
anyway i collected all the DOCS ( 8 envelopes ! ) and submitted them with signatures so lets see , they will receive the papers anytime :S

what doc did you send in the envelope
The PDF provided with the PMI, called pdc_auditinstructions ONLY mentions Project Management Experience Audit Report and nothing called as Experience Record ( which is posted on the PMI Application portal)
Now which is true and needs to be followed.
Did you ONLY Send Project Management Experience Audit Report or also the Experience Record.
My references have to come in from India, I am here in the US so its a long journey for me still.
BTW : Audits happen at all stages..its only a matter of chance that we got it in first instance...even after you take the test and pass...you might never know somebody will be nominated to talk to you on personal basis..so they happen..Most of PMP institute people told me.

well regarding the
well regarding the verification form + certification record , as far as my friend told me
the same PDF that contains 3 pages is BOTH the certification record ( your project description ) and the verification form ( the one that the manager must sign and approve ! )
i hope im just done from this silly process :D
