Just took the PMP for the SECOND time this weekend and still didnt pass :(

Yall-  Im not going to lie....this is completely depressing!  I have studied my rear off for 6 months now and I am obviously doing something wrong.  Last week I took the PMStudy bootcamp (4 days, around 55 hours of intense training) and really thought I had the concepts and ways that the questions would be worded down pat but I have got something wrong going on.  I hae taken a bunch of practice test and have done really well on them and the PMStudy practice test are even harder than the ones on the actual test and I did fine on those.  im totally stumped so I am sitting here thiking of a few things that I may have been confused on......So here is my question......If you are in the executing process group and a stakeholder calls and wants a deliverable added to the project.....on the real test, 2 of the answers were " make the change immediately" and "dont do anything" and I eliminated both of those right off the bat because myPMstudy instructor drilled into our heads that we dont do ANYTHING until we analyse and talk to our team.   So the way I was reading the answers, there was usually an option that said something like " schedule a meeting with you team" or "analyse the effect that this will make on the triple constraint" and if that wasnt an option, I went with the "refer to your project management plan" option.  I am wondering if I should have considered the "do nothing" option because this new deliverable was clearly not in the original scope....  anyone want to help me think through this???

Nikki

Hello Nikki,

Sorry to hear your results. What were the four options you saw for this questions? I am also preparing for PMP and would be glad to join and form study group if you are interested.
