PMP Prep so far - Exam scheduled for Sept 19th

Hi everyone,

I have been preparing for PMP for over a month and have gone through PMBOK once and Andy Crowe's book How to pass PMP in first try once. I don't remember everything on top of my mind as i get distracted while reading or even while attempting the practise tests. Its too much theory.

I need your guidance on the following, please advise:

I gave Velociteach Simulator practise test of 200 questions and scored 60%

Headfirst 200 practise test questions and scored 63%

I am concerned that my score is still in 60's and if i should reschedule my exam date to later. do i need more time to study? i can dedicate 1-2 hour of study a day during the week and 5 hours a day during the weekend

Should i got back to reading for a week and then come back t practise tests?

I took a local PMP Bootcamp class in my area and that trainer has been encouraging me that i am ready to give the exam and should do it within a  week from now.

Any advise, guidance or assistance is very much appreciated!

Thanks,

LCM

Practice more. Do not look at scores of mock tests. Take tests from reputed good providers like Pmstudy, Pmzest, Oliver, Rita FT, Pmzilla, Christopher Scordo etc. Make sure you read PMBOK once. That’s all is needed for you.

Thanks & Regards,
Rohit Nair, PMP

Thanks Rohit!! I was getting so stressed with my practise tests results that now i have decided to read pmbok once before i attempt qustions test again. After giving these tests i realized that there are so many concepts that i dont have much clarity or i dont remember anymore.
