Curiosity

Hello guys..

I have a curiosity..as i am moving further with my study and heading to D day..I am realizing that..everything in PMBOK or in any other reference book..keep roaming around..ITTOs(Not like what is inpur or output) but still kind of related..

Is this the case with actual exam also?

I mean I went through your posts and you have been talking about this since December 2014! am I right? Dont be so scared, just get it over with. I passed mine in April and I am like what do I do with this now lol! Anyways, good luck to you! I hope you pass with all this time and efforts you are putting into it.

Hi Nisha,

I have the same feeling that many questions refer either directly or indirectly to the ITTO's. And the frustrating part (at least for me) is that most of the books and online prep sources say that you don’t have to memorize the ITTO's, but rather understand the logic and then you can easily to pick up the right answer. Well, sometimes it indeed work, but there are many questions (especially in the Online PM Simulator by Cornelius Fichtner) where you have a list of inputs, let’s say 7 inputs) and 1 is missing, so you have to choose the answer with the missing one. Sometimes no matter how logical you are, you just cannot figure out the right answer as the difference between then is tiny. This is where memorization should help. But I don’t see myself able to memorize close to 700 ITTO’s, not just memorize, but to know which process each one of them relate. Some questions go even deeper than that. For example, Organizational Process Assets or Enterprise Environmental Factors use different items for different processes, so you have to choose the right one. For me personally it’s impossible. And even though I score around 80 on my recent PM simulator preparations, I feel this is the one of my weakest parts.

Anyway, good luck with your exam! Mine is next week, July 30th…

Thats abosolutely right..Actually i was doing pmstudy questions and somehow relate to ITTOs in almost every question..but yesterday gave PMFast track exam and scored only 73.5%.

Although some of the explanations fo rans i still do not agree..as it is contradicting PMBOK but still result is a result..:-( In Rita PM FAST track they have given situational question more then ITTOs..

I am sure ull do well..in the exam..so All the best..Please let us know..after the exam..what actually the patter is:-)
