Hello Friends,
This is my first post on this forum. I am planning to take pmp exam in Aug2015 1st week. Can you friends kindly guide me the best way for preparation to clear pmp. Which books do I need to refer to other than PMBOK and Rita?
Regards,
Kanchi

Efficient Tricks to Prepare for the PMP Exam
Hi Viswanath,
Finding the perfect materials to study for the exam is important, but that’s tricky to do with so much material out there. You are preparing for something you have not done before, so get a professional’s perspective (someone who has a PMP) for a study path.
Knowledge is helpful when preparing for the exam. The PMP exam tests through the PMBOK Guide, but you can’t just rely on that one source because it is merely guidelines that provide only about 75% of what can be found on the PMP exam.

Hope it helps you. All the best for your PMP.

Practise mock tests
Dear Kanchi,
As per my view these three(PMBOK Rita and Kim Heldman) are more than enough along with a good quality of practise tests, now this all depend upon individual style , many spend too much time preparing for PMP and experiment many sources.

Wonderful answers here! IMO one of the best ways to prepare yourself for PMP is to find the right study partner. Someone whose abilities complement your own so that you can help each other. You may be worried that if you would study with a friend, you would end up wasting time, and no good would come out of it.
I think I can suggest a solution. Go for new people. People who you are not friends with. There are websites like StudyPal which make this incredibly easy. You can also try Meetup.
