After lots of confusion on preparations and confusion whether to give the PMP exam or not I finally gave it today and passed with moderately proficiently in all 5 process group. I knew I was not that well prepared since I was not scoring good in mock test as well and my office work did not allowed me much to concentrate on the preparations. I has to pass this exam to take my career ahead and I was thinking for over 2 years to pass it soon. I had done 2 days classroom some 2 years back itself from Pmstudy. However, I was serious since last 3-4 months only.

Among the books I read PMBOK, PMStudy book, Andy Crowe and Edwel free eBook. Just one advice here to people who are planning to give the exam, please please read PMBOK 2-3 times.

Among the mock test I took Christopher Scordo, Pmstudy, Exam Central, Certchamp, Pmzest, Pmexamsimulator, Oliver Lehmann, Pmzilla etc. I was lazy in giving mock test and hence never gave any full mock tests. I just gave in 30 or sometimes 50 question in one slot.

PMP exam will have many situational questions and about 10 questions based on mathematics. The question choices were very confusing and there were many question which I could not even understand. I was not sure if I would pass or not, but passed and this matters the most beyond anything.

Thank you all for posting in this forum and it helps a lot. I was watching this forum over 6 months and with comments from people I was able to make out how PMP exam questions are and what level of preparations are needed.
