And due to which I am loosing my confidence..I am too much disturb..
I have read Rita twice,Head first once,PMBOK (studing twice) but all the time I am between 65-70% whilce giving the exam..I am not getting that strentgh to face it:-(
What should I do?
Thanks

Hi Nisha,
Hi Nisha,
I recently gave PMP exam on 2nd March and passed it successfully. I read Rita's book couple of times, Head first once and PMBok just glanced over. Note that the training which I took was more than year before. So I felt considerably nervous while appearing for the exam.
Few things to note:
1. Focus more on Risk Management, Procurement and Integration chapters. These are the key areas for exam.
2. Don't stress too much about mathematical problems but keep good practice of solving them in reasonable time. Also, mathematically questions usually don't appear as straight-forward as Head First or Rita's book. So understanding the question is key.
3. Scope management is the source of all tricky questions. Understand well the difference between, project scope statement, project charter and statement of work. Also, read well about Org breakdown structure, resource breakdown structure and work breakdown structure.
4. I felt that first 50-60 questions on the exam are really hard and gets on your nerves. So keep calm, apply your best guess and review later.
5. Last 50 or so questions were bit straight-forward.
6. Don't give more than 2 mins to any question.
7. Attempt all questions.
8. Take some energy bar or something as exam is long and may exhaust you.
Good luck!

Practicing more will give you
Practicing more will give you the strength to face the real exam. twice or thrice does not matter. you should score well in mock tests. Try PMZilla questions and do more mock tests.

Hi Nisha,
Hi Nisha,
Many people including my self have been in your situation where we questions our ability to pass this exam. The thing is, you will never feel prepare and ready, there is always a chance to second guess yourself and your memory.
Read a lot of LL from people that already pass the exam, this will boost your confidence. Cheer up and have fun on this PMP exam journey.

Stay Calm, Stay Focused, Take a deep breath!
Hi Nisha
First of all, PMP exam is not the end of life. Period. Consider it as just another exam in your career. Having said that you cannot be complacent either. But if so many PMP aspirants have cracked it why can't you?
So stay calm, stay focused, read well and take a deep breath! I and I am sure all of us here understand your anxiousness.
Since you already know what to read and have already gone through it, no point in repeating that. PMBOK and Rita Mulcahy should be more than enough if you read them well.
Practicing questions and mind mapping some of the ITTOs and creating a habit of brain dumping important info will help you get there. I have a full detailed blog post descirbing my experience of passing the PMP exam on the first attempt here - http://thewisdompearls.com/best-tips-to-pass-the-pmp-exam/
Make sure you practice as many questions as you can. Don't worry about whether you get them all right or wrong. Just getting to know these questions, what their content is, their meaning is and the correct explanations - that itself is a learning process as well. Check out similar resources here - http://thewisdompearls.com/download-pmp-material/
Hope this helps you prepare better. But more importantly, hope this helps you gain the much needed confidence.
Good luck! Cheers!

Stay Calm & Relax
Read Word by Word PMBOK for last time before exam.
Give atleast 2 days relaxing to your mind (Dont Read Anything).
This will help you a lot.
Just be on your Dump sheet.
You will clear d exam dont panic.
Its a test of mind set also.

Hello Nisha,
Hello Nisha,
Memorize the 10 knowledge areas and 47 processes and make sure you understand and can explain the PMI key benefits of each process - just a one or two sentence summary of why the process is important. Start with that and see if your 65-70% will increase.
I do a PMP study website as a hobby - there is a page on the site where you can review the PMI key benefits of each process "process benefits." Welcome to surf the website. www.propm.org. Wish you the best.
