Question - Make or Buy

Make or Buy decision making; even if the conclusion is to make under what circumstances I would still buy? - because of high priority on other project etc? Any comments?

Schedule can be one reason. You can make the product but it may take long time and time to market maybe important.

Likewise there are many such factors which may reverse the make decision. Availability of raw materials, Availability of labor, Tedious government rules etc.

Simply put you lack the resources
There is a specific patent or copy right
You lack the expertise

The list goes on ...
