All, I had been a silent reader of this blog for quite sometime. The First time i was in a hurry to get it done and second time i was over confident - and believe me, failure is what made me clear it today. Dont be disappointed if you cant make it. There is always a second time and dont let the fire within die. I am very glad to share the good news of clearning PMP (Project Management Professional) exam today - Saturday, Aug 02,2014 Today I was totally relaxed knowing what was coming. My exam was scheduled at 1:00 PM I entered the hall a little earlier and the familiar errie feeling of silence and everyone glued to their screen, the humming of aircondition was a familiar sight - today somehow I was ready for the battle. It was a grueilling 4hrs/200 situational & mathematical questions. I completed the whole 4 hours exam in about 3hrs 40 mns. Spent sometime on review, completed the feedback screen and then I hit End Exam button, the screen went blank with the hour glass spining - Those moments, I could hear my heart beat so loud! !! and when these words "Congratulations" came on the screen - It was a Bliss!! I walked out by 4:45 PM, it was a beautiful day!! I like to thank eveyrone who had been in one way or the other contributed to my success - My tutors, Mentors, PMP members, Colleagues, Friends last but not the least My family - who had been constantly encouraging and motivating me, without whom this would not have been achieved. About the Exam: It is really not tough if you understand PMBOK. I dint score more than 70% in all the mock tests. Materials I used. PMBOK 5 - Read it 2 times - scan thru once PMBOK Guide Edition Five - 200 Questions by John Tracy (Paperback) PMP Examination Practice Questions - Sean Whitaker PMP Exam Preparation - Daud Nasir Sample Exam Questions - John Estrella I used Rita only once. My only advice is, please dont compare how people have scored in thier mock test or PMP, everyone has their own unique way of learning and skills. Just believe in yourself and everything will be fine. Note: To all my fellow PMP aspirants, there is no short cuts to PMP or to success in life,.. my 2 cents !! Thank you all!!
