Visiting a construction site to ensure the work being done is the same work planned for is called:

Milestone is watching for
Milestone is watching for final completion and not work planned
Variance analysis will be done after you have the results of planned vs Actual
QA is to check process compliance.
Scope validation is w.r.t to final acceptance of deliverables and not related to interim checking.
So with this additional information , i think you can guess the answer ?

Hi
Hi
I have doubts in this topic.
Actually in the original question, there was no "Perform QA" option,so answer was easy. But when I try to differentiate QA and Validate Scope, confusions remain
*In PMBOK Page 243,it is clearly mentioned QA builds confidence that Work in Progress will meet the expectation. It prevents defects by inspecting during "Work in Progress".
* Validate Scope is the process of getting approvals from customers for the deliverables before officially handing over and increases chance of final product being accepted.
So in a construction scenario, usually inspections happen with the consultant prior to concreting. So I assume this is QA(Work in Progress).
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Site visit with customer for completed job inspection
You are doing the validate Scope process by visiting & inspecting (along with Customer)the completed portion of the Construction Site. I am thinking this way. Hope this should be okey.
