The time you need to prepare for PMP depends upon your 1) experience, 2) Materials used 3) Quality of your boot camp 4) number of hours you are willing to put everyday.

2 weeks is enough for PMP if you can put in 8 - 10 hours per day. Avg time taken is 180 hours for PMP perparation. This includes time taken for reading , giving mock tests, preparing notes etc.

Make a start by reading 1st chapter and see how much you can retain and remember, Answer questions chapter wise from Rita's book and assess your knowledge. Then you will know actual time you will need for preparing.

Hi,

If one month is the timeline, i would suggest you to immediately join a good classroom-based pmp training course from a PMI REP. The workshop will be hardly for 4-5 days where you'll get to learn project management concepts defined in PMBOK Fifth edition, and will also be prepared to pass the PMP exam.

Another reason is that many institutes are offering money back guarantee on pmp training course. There is thus comparatively a much lower risk of money wastage if you happen to fail the exam.

Few good Reps offering pmp training classes are knowledgewoods ,simplilearn, pmstudy, etc. I am not sure about the other two, but knowledgewoods does offer money back guarantee on its pmp training program.

I am providing here links to some of the training institutes. Just check them, you may find the links useful:
