PMP Cleared on my first attempt on 9-Dec-2010

I am Happy to share you with all, in my first attempt I have cleared out PMP Yesterday 9-Dec.


I have been following this forum since I started my PMP certification project Initiation.

 

in my planning stage have planned certification date 24-Nov initially and adjusted based on my knowledge gaps on Execution , M&C.

 

I have taken few simulation exams to fulfill my knowledge gaps. The results were as below, which gives me a confident to face the revised exam echedule on 9-Dec.

 

Headfirst Labs   - 82%

PM study         - 81%

Techfaq360       - 74%

Oliver (175-PDF) - 75%

PM Road trip(PDF)- 77%

 

 

Have reached exam hall 45 min before and settled it. When the exam time comes have first started dump all the information in my brain on to the scrach papaer includes ITTO.

 

The I have started executiong the exam. With first 50 min I have scored 80 questions i felt confident that i may pass thru,

 

Have taken only one break after answering 120 questions. then finally have completed exam 2:45 min remainning time i spend to reviewe question.

 

then final face has reached where clicking the END EXAM button i was happy to see CONGRATULATION YOU HAVE PASS THE PMP

 

 

INITIATING: PROFICIENT

 

PLANNING:PROFICIENT

 

EXECUTING: BELOW PROFICIENT

 

M/C : MODERATELY PROFICIENT

 

CLOSING: MODERATELY PROFICIENT

 

PROFF& SOCIAL RESPO: BELOW PROFICIENT

 

 

My observation to this PMP exam: 

 

It is not at all tough but not so easy too more over how confident your ready to take the exam and how are you putting the concepts in the exam.

Having arounf 6 years of PM exp.  the total study duration for exam it took me 3 months.
