Hi There,
I have recently started reading PMBOK 5th Edition.
Since it has 10 Knowlegde areas i was plannning to complete a knowledge area and then take a test for the same knowledge area, which i guess might show where i stand in terms of understanding the PMBOK.
It would be of great help if you could provide me with a solution where i can take a knowledge area wise test.
You could also mail me at mahavirambudkar@gmail.com
Your feedbacks will be much appreciated.
Have a Good Day.
Thanks
Mahavir

Hi Mukesh,
Congrats for your results and Thanks for your reply.
Could you please help me on the preparation.
I was planning to complete a knowledge area from PMBOK followed by Rita Mulcahy and then the test for the same knowledge area.
Do you think that studying the same knowledge area from PMBOK and Rita would be beneficial or you prefer any other way.
Please suggest
Many Thanks

Combine Rita and Oliver
Mahavir,
Please practise Rita Fast Track extensively and make sure that you score more than 75% in all Knowledge areas. I would also suggest you to take Oliver Lehmann 200 + 75 questions, which are much closer to the final exam. Overall ensure to have a good knowledge of the PM concepts, ITTO flow and do a lot many mock tests to improve your confidence. Wish you a good luck with your preparation!

I have a different
I have a different suggestion for you. I would rather say start with PMP reference book first (say Rita) and understand project management concepts in real life from them. Then you can move on to PMBOK and read it couple of times making sure you cover each PMBOK lines.
Your first goal should be taking chapter end questions from the reference books and understand the explanation for each questions closely. This is a key trick to learn answering PMP questions. Once done you can then move to mock tests.
In PMP exam you will not be asked questions knowledge area wise, it will rather be randomly arranged questions and hence I would say, take practice questions randomly.

Rita Fasttrack V8
Hi. Does anyone has a soft copy of this software that they can share? I have already invested in purchasing the book, but would like this resource for free. Will much appreciate if you can email gentleman1725@gmail.com. Many thanks in advance.
