Question on Category B: Continuing Education
Hi All,
I'm doing an online MBA (project management) program and completed PMP some time back. I recently completed a course - Information Technology project management. Each course takes 10 weeks (no classroom sessions or tutorials) for self learning & assignments and has 3 credit units. I contacted my university to check whether the course qualifies for PDU's and they informed that it qualifies for 45 PDU's (PMP Renewal).
I want to know whether it sounds correct? Are the academic courses qualifies for 45 PDU's? Also while reporting the PDU's there is a question - "Hours Completed". It took me around 120-140 hours to complete the course. So should I enter the hours completed as 120 and PDU's as 45?
Please advise. Thanks in advance for your inputs. Thanks!

Go for 45 PDUs.... and rest
Go for 45 PDUs.... and rest 15 can claim in self learning category... where by even reading a book on project management you earn PDU.
You can also watch PM Videos and claim PDUs under self learning, here is our channel which can give you at least 20+ hours of content on Project management www.youtube.com/izenbridge

If this is REP you can claim all 120 PDUs. If you have spent 120 Hours. PDUs can be carried forward for following cycle.

Thanks Admin. I checked the REP database and my university is listed as REP. But my University academic advisor told me that this course is eligible for 45 PDU's. Shall I contact PMI to check what should I do? Thanks!
