Failed Exam Tonight.

Unfortunately I had scheduled my test a month after I passed my audit and did not think logically enough about how much study time I really needed.

I knew walking in I was likely to fail (although I did try my hardest).

It wasn't that the questions were particularly "hard", it's just that I didn't know them...at all...As in, I couldn't even guess the answer of many of them.

I took 2.5 hours on the questions I knew and an additional hour on detailed review.

Anyhow, I did moderately proficient in all process areas but two so back on the horse to study those two the most!

Hi,

Sorry to hear this. Wish you pass in your next try after having more time to study

Thanks! It's a hard test..anyone else that's reading this, don't underestimate it...study study study! :)

here we go again!
:)

Sorry to hear, i know how it feels when exam is not cleared.

But IMHO, I will suggest, dont lose heart and every fall is like a learning and important learning curve...Dont lose heart and find your weak areas and Keep moving !!!!!

Give your best in next attempt...

Sry to hear that u failed. I have prepared for 5 months and still failed the exam last oct. I'm sure that u'll pass the 2nd try

Also I'd like to add that you need to READ the question carefully. 90% of  of my worng answers in practice exams are  because of that reason.  "Can be found" is different that "Can be performed" !!!

By the way, my 2nd exam is less than 10 days from now. I'll let you know how it goes..

Thanks folks for your comments.

It's a hard test. I was pretty diligent on not being tricked into things like "IS NOT"...Honestly I didn't run into nearly as many trick questions on the actual exam than I found on practice exams. Most of the PMP exam questions were straight forward. I just didn't know the answers, plain and simple.

Good luck to all that are taking it again.

I am certain we will all pass the second time around!

Good luck!
