Passed the exam yesterday after 1 postponement  -70$

What I did:

• PMstudy for my PDUs... felt it could be better, did the exams on their site - worthless
• Headfirst- Started with this to get the definition of terms.
• Rita - To train in the behavioural part, I read the v6 book did all the knowledge area tests in their Fastrack
• Saw the Scordo book mentioned here so did the 18 scordo mock exam, nothing else
• PMBOK 5 on and off - it made great reading towards the end (like the last day)
• Prepared for 6 mo
• I gave my all for the knowledge area mock tests, read all ur notes, pmbok and book chapters for each before attempting them - then after scoring, tediously went thru the answers which i learnt the most in.

Got up the day of the exam and did the superPMP in Ritas fasttrack. I had summarised all the process grps in my notes and keep revising them.

what i learnt:

• For me it was important to keep doing some reading everyday up until the exam because everytime i went for a 2 day wedding, or a weekend training - i felt fresh and i back at sq one, and was set back
• I didnt feel confident till i did Scordo's 18 after i did Ritas mock exams - i was scoring just pass to comfortably pass (not > 75%)
• I dont think theres anything better than the above two, so no point in looking for more mocks
• if u finish ur cheat sheet in under 5 mins ur probably ready
• no really specific question that wouldnt have come if u studied only pmbok4

Experience:

The first half hour, i was dazed and scared stiff and running late, getting stuck at numericals and kept reading the long questions multiple times, and thought im going to die if i dont pass. by first the 1 hr i was late by 17 questions (25 q/half hour)... then i thought thats it, im going to mark and come back to questions after i am done with first pass.... and thats when i took off, and read v fast. looking for keywords, bit in the beginning, then read the options to get what they asking for and then continue reading the full question.

finished 20 mins before time incl.reviewing marked answers. started reviewing the first 30 questions during when i didnt know what i was doing, helped. Exam was easy in the sense all were straight forward questions.

Landed with 2Ps and 3MPs.
