About experience verification details for applying for PMP Exam??

 
I plan to begin studying for pmp course online starting next week.
 
 
(1)
Wonder whether:
 
I should fill in experience verification details right after finishing the book
 
Or
 
Half-way through the course
 
Or
 
When I finish studying the course?
 
 
(2)
For experience verification details, what's the meaning of experience in "leading & directing projects?
Coz my work experience on project involve planning, execution, and closing processes areas only. Do these experience fit into "leafing & directing projects" requirements?
 
 
Would appreciate if anyone can give me some advice here.

 (1) I dont think it matters when you fill in the application with experience for my exam, I filled the application, submitted it and started studying. It really depends on when you want to appear for exam, if you have enough time then you can submit the application after your study but remember if your application is selected for audit then it will take few more weeks for approval, so consider everything. My advice - if you took the PMI membeship and you have set yourself the date then go ahead and submit your application early

(2) I think you do not need to worry about "leading and directing projects" They expect you to have experience in 5 process groups, so in the application you mention how many hours did you spend in each process group and you need to write about your role. about the project and the activities you performed in the project related to process groups
