Preparation :(Things that worked out for me)
With edition FOUR becoming obsolete from 1st Aug 2013, I believe below tips will assist

1) PMBOK is the bible and should be read  as many times as possible until the concepts are  well thoroughly understood.
2) Encourage to  become member of some online forums pmzilla.com to gather info posted.
3) Cornelius Fichtner audio Prepcast
3) Should definitely have a study plan.(1 to 3 months)
4) For  PMP members, use   e-reads for  mock tests from Christopher Scordio (www.pmi.org)
5) Although lot of free mock exams are available in the market, below is some of the best sites to practice mock.

Hi Sri,

Congratulation!

Your tips and infos are very helpful. Currently, I'm studying PMP Prep based on PMBOK5 and planning to take my 2nd attempt within this year of 2013.

Lesson learnt, my preparation is not enough as I only attended the PMP Course (based on PMBOk4) last April 2013 and tried to take the 1st attempt on June 2013, but  failed. PMP Exam Certification is very tough, it require lots of preparation and we should take it by heart. Hopefully, In God willing I'll make it on my 2nd attempt.

Thank you for the tips and the infos. Cheers.

God bless.

Best regards,

Albert
