Passed my PMP on 07/26.

I got into PMZilla very late (i.e. about 2 weeks before the exam). But still, the discussions in these forums helped to build confidence in me. One thing I should specify is about a suggestion which I got from few of the blogs to buy the PMStudy simulation tests. I bought a 4 tests package just 5 days before my exam and believe me... it helped a lot!! 

Few points from me

1) I have started my preparation few months back. Was going through some skillSoft interactive eLearning courses (based on PMBOK4) which is freely available in my company intranet site. This gave me an overview about the subject.

2) About 1 month before I read through PMBOK 4 guide (a high level reading - didn't study it).

3) Then started taking sample exams (free exams - e.g. oliverlehmann - which are available in abundance in internet). These exams made me realize that I have to 'study' PMBOK 4 if I want to get through the exam.

4) I have spent about 4 hours average for 2 weeks studying PMBOK 4. Then I bought PMStudy 4 simulation test package. Got 69% during my first test. I read through the areas which I needed improvement. Next 3 test percentage were 70%, 75%, 75%.

5) I got 2Ps and 3MPs in the exam. Whatever it is, I was too happy when I saw 'congratulations' at the last screen.

All the very best for all who prepares for this exam. Yes it needed a bit hard work from our side. But I am sure you all’ll be successful.
