Prepare PMP with Rita Mulcahy to PASS

I have passed PMP in my First Attempt in July 2013. I am sharing this to give you my personal opinion and my experience which can be in contrary to other opinions. You will be the best to judge and rate.

Please provide your comments and feedback.

Sagnik's Exam Preparation Tips -

1. Give yourselves 2 months of time for this preparation

2. Buy Rita's book if you want to succeed in the shortest time and develop concepts. If you can brush aside your ego, this is the BEST book for PMP. Period.

3. Walkthrough the chapters 3 to chapter 8 from PMBOOK

4. Create your own notes that suits your study and reference to other notes is not required.

5. Give all the free examination, worth mentioning HeadFirst and SimpleLearn exams. Oliver Lehmann was way above and I will personally will not recommend

6. Give yourself atleast 2 weeks after all these exam to retrospect and study

7. Revise your notes before the day of the exam

8. Sleep well in the night before the exam (PMIsm :) )

The exam is not that difficult but Time management in exam can be the key to succcess!!!!

All The Best!!!

 Congratulations !

Congrats!!! Its time to have fun!!

I am not sure I agree completely to study just Rita..as I felt PMBOK was also crucial...but it is just my viewpoint...

I agree, make and use your own notes. Creating the list of notes is a study method in it's own, it allows you to identify your strengths and allows you to focus on your weaknesses.

I also endorse Rita and PM Fast Track, passed on my first attempt.

Congrats!
