Passed PMP Exam in first attempt

Dear Friends,

The happy moment finally arrived when I passed PMP exam in my first attempt. Many thanks to this forum for invaluable recommendations and guidelines.

My recommendation will be to study PMBOK guide diligently and use other resources like Rita as a supplement guide. In the last 2-3 days PMBOK should be the only focus material.

Best of luck to all aspirants. Special mention for Rajesh notes, which were very useful.

It was quite a relief to see the "Congratulations" pop up on that screen!! I was well prepared, but I really got a sinking feeling in my gut reading some of the questions. Like I hadn't studied the material at all! That lasted for about 30 minutes, and then I calmed down and got in to the groove of the exam. It helped to mark all of those questions so that I could go back and review at the end. And boy, when I went back, they all of the sudden made sense. So you just have to be aware of your 'exam jitters' and what it will do to you at the beginning. Getting through security added to the whole nervous vibe. I didn't have anything to hide, but it was still nerve-wracking. Anyway, I used up all but two minutes of the four hours. I am just so happy, relieved and proud that it is over!
