Help. Exam in 2 days. Did not do well in PM

 Hi Everyone,

I have my exam in 2 days and this will be my second attempt. I am very concerned. i did very well on Andy Crowe's questions and very well on Rita's chapter questions. Then I went to do the PmStudy 15 free questions and failed miserably. Any advice?

I am also preparing as well and after reading many posts who cleared PMP mostly recommend PMSTUDY free of paid exam of 200 questions...i think if you score around 75% then you probably are good...but thats my view

at least i can say for sure that you should take one 1 PMSTUDY 200 for sure and then decide based as on your results

Also next would be Oliver 75 and Oliver 175 questions which are free....but PMStudy first as everyone says that they are close to real ones....

Actually, if you select correct answers for 10 out of 15 questions by luck, it doesnt mean that you will pass PMP exam as you have good score in this Mock.

Mock exam is mainly for preparing for  time management and stress handling during 4 hr Marathon exam.

Also if  you get less score, be happy as you have more questions to analyse and fill your gaps for exam and do not lose your confidence.

Even in exam, yu might go blank for 4-5 questions. Do not panic and this is usual.

Take a deep breathe, flag those tough questions, mark those unknown questions with some relevant answers and move ahead. It might be an easy one when you review.

These are the some of the experiences from my PMP exam.

i agree. i just did 200 PMstudy questions and you are correct about the stress handling and time managment part. Thanks anand2381.

Thanks for the tip ppalkonda1975. i tried the 200 PMSTUDY questions like you recommended and scored 70.86%.  it's not the best score but i have better idea of what needs a little more focusing from me.

me also attempted the pm study 15 questions, but failed with 53%. very scared now since exam is on 25th. i am not able to access the 200 free pmstudy questions...can you advice how to access that. i can always see only 15 questions when i login...pls help me out.

thanks

hey akkarthick, i had to pay for the 200 free pmstudy questions. it was $25. after paid i got access right away.

 Hi,

In the PMP exam, don't look at the clock until you complete at least 100 questions.  Once you complete 100 questions, note the time then and estimate the remaining time.  This will help you plan whether you need to speed up or you can manage with remaining time.  I did the same, and had 40 mins remaining time after completing 200 questions.  I took a break for about 8 mins and relaxed for 2 mins at the desk.  In the remaining 30 mins time I have reviewed all the marked questions.

If you look at the clock from the beginning, you will come under pressure and there is a chance of making mistakes.   So, deliberately I did not look at the clock.  Anyway, from practice you can complete 100 questions in 100 mins at max. so, you will have another 140 mins to complete remaining 100 questions.  This worked for me.

Not true, you should aim to spend a maximum of 1 minute a question. Some of them are easy and you can do them in 20 seconds. 20 seconds here and there adds up, and you will be ahead of the clock. Not looking at the clock till you reach 100 questions may have worked for Kmohan, but it may not work for you. Even then s/he had 40 mins left after completing 200 questions, which meant s/he was doing an average of 1min/question.

Let me know how your exam went. I am in same boat. Keeping my hopes high...
