Passed on 18th june

I have cleared the PMP on 18th June.

First of all Thanks to Lord Jesus Christ who has helped to pass this Exam. Also to my family who had sacrificed their time.

Thanks a lot to this forum and contributors.

Just to share and encourage others..the following best practices I had followed.

· Take a printout of PMBOK chapter wise and staple it

· Take one chapter printout and read…once read ..keep it aside….(this will give you confidence as soon as you have done with a chapter)

· RITA 7th Edition book – Read twice and practices Exam twice.

Travelled a day before to the test center (400KMs) as testing center was in different site.

Stayed in a hotel and visited the place the previous night. Next morning visited (it was very easy..as we know the place)

Exam tips:

Mark Review if really required. ( I didn’t follow strictly on this..had to revisit the question if I answered correctly)

First 200 questions finished within 2:30 and 1:30 for review.

3 BPS, and 2 MP.

Materials used

1) PMBOK

2. Rita 3. (For critical path and EVM questions – its better to refer

3) http://www.headfirstlabs.com/PMP/criticalpath/HeadFirstPMP_CriticalPathD...

4 ) For EVM, you can go you tube and look for this .you will get very good short tutorials

5) Regula visit of pmzilla.

5) Raaga’ 365 – referred once. Rajesh Nair notes was good but..didn’t get time to study

PMStudy, Examcentral and Head first free exams have done for mock exams.

--Almost studied for 60 days.

Key to success…

Understand the concept and increase your concentration power and it will be help you to pass the exam.

Thanks for PMZilla and all contributors.
