Passed PMP in 1st attempt on 20th June 2013 - Lessons learned
Good afternoon.
I passed PMP in 1st attempt on 20.06.2013. My score is 3P + 2MP.
I would like to share my LL with you as follows:
1. UNDERSTAND the content including processes, ITTOs, formulae & everything else useful on exam. Don't mug up.
If possible try to apply the same in your daily work. This will reinforce the contents in your mind.
2. Use cognitive approach. It really helps.
3. Used Manoj's ITTO tool. Vey useful.
Please ensure that every time you drag any ITTO to respective header; think for a while what function it does & then drag it. It really helps a lot.
Thanks to the creators of this tool & pmzilla for making it available online :)
4. Attempt as much Mock tests as possible. I took 10 Mock tests from Knowledgewoods. Found really useful.
5. Try oliver lehmann atleast once. Its really very tough & thought provoking.
6. Stay focused. Study at least for an hour / day.
Nos. of days to be worked out based on an individual's grasping power.
7. Discuss the concepts with your peers, friends if possible.
8. Create your own exam strategy based on mock tests that you would attempt.
I would like to thank pmzilla community since I learnt a lot many things & got new perspectives regarding PMP preparation.
Thank you once again & ALL THE BEST To all PMP aspirants. :)

Hi rashmi, You can't get the
Hi rashmi,
You can't get the test papers in .pdf or .doc format since its a simulation programme sort of a thing.
The only document you can generate from it is the performance report showing your % score & knowledge area + process group wise break up.
But yes; if you are running short of time & you have tests balance to take, I would suggest you to request the customer support cell for the same & check if you can have your deadline extended by some period within which you can attempt those tests.
All the best. :)
