Learning ITTOs - a helpful excel
In my PMP lessons learned post I had mentioned about an excel sheet I created and followed to learn the ITTOs.
Lots of people asked me to share it with them and they commented that they found it useful. So I figured out a way to share with others.
If interested, you can download the excel sheet from google docs.
1) Open https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-0kiO6x9FJXejNGNHlwVkhjbWs/edit in the browser
2) On the top left click on File > Download
3) After downloading, open the file in Microsoft Excel
Basically I copied the list of ITTOs and created some pivot tables out of it.
- I used to click on a tool or technique and test if I can remember what that tool is all about and if I remember which domain and process it comes under. Say click on Advertising and guess where you have read it. Now expand and see if you got it right. This will help you spot your knowledge gaps
- Check the outputs too. I think it is important that you understand all the outputs. You can ignore some generic ones like Project mgmt plan updates, Proj docs updates. Remember that Change requests are created in most of the executing and M & C processes including Plan Procurements.
- Input pivot table isn't useful. I hadn't tested myself on it.
If you couldn't download the excel, do let me know. Thanks.

Thank you...
This is simply superb work. I have my exam scheduled in a couple of weeks still struggling to memorize and recollect ITTO's.
This would be really great help for me to practice.
Thanks again.
