PMP New Course Change (July 31st 2013)

 Hello Everyone,

I am planning to prepare for PMP certification, but before that i wanted to get some feedback from your experience/opinion if i should take the exam post July 31st with the new course material or should i try to finish it before the new course is effective.

 If you can prepare before 31st July then go for current course material. new course material is not much different , but it will need you to refer to updated materials which may take more time.

 Hi,

Thanks for your reply. 

I have just started my preparation and going through Headfirst and Rita. Also, I need to accumulate 35 PDU's for which I will be attending classes with PMStudy or Knowledgewoods in Jun. 

Just wanted to know whether I have left enough time for myself to prepare and give the exam before July 31st, considering short time and also rush hour at last moment in July. Would it be worth it?

I am spending 2 hours daily and 4 hours on weekends for study.

Any suggestions?

P.S Ive got total 6 years experience  (3 years in functional mgmt, lead roles)
