whats the difference betweem PMP and PPM?

I understand both are management related certifications. Just want to understand, whether companies accept PPM certified candidates?

  • PPM stands for Project and Portfolio Management.
  • As per my knowledge, PPM is a concept like CRM around which you have multiple tools available in market.
  • Apart from Project Management, there are many areas which are included in PPM e.g. TIme Management, Program Management, Portfolio etc.
  • Examples of tools are PPM are HP proivded PPM tool, CA Clarity, Primevera etc.
