Question - Monitor and Control Project Work
As per PMBOK 4th ed. rework is "to bring future project performance back in line with the project management plan". Question doesn't ask for what is rework? Actual question is in last line and for that answer is B.

Option 1 looks better than 2.
Option 1 looks better than 2. Here we need to differentiate between corrective action Vs rework. Defect repair can be a rework (fix it) or replace. Option 2 is a defination of corrective action.
