PMP Eligibility creteria

Hello Everyone,

As per my experience total project hours are coming around 2603 hrs but the creteria is to have 4500 hrs.

So my understanding is that I am not yet eligible to take the PMP Exam. I just would like to confirm this.

In this case, people with around 8 years of total experience can not take the exam. Any suggestions?

Hi, you can achieve 4500 hours in just over 2 years if you are doing project management work full time!!

40 hours/week, 52 wks/yr. you will get just over 2 years.

(4500/40)/52 = 2.16 years

Since this is usually not the case, it will all depend how much time you spend doing project manangement work. It is a case by case basis.
