PASSED PMP on Apr 30, 2013 - with 1P/2MP/2BP

I would like to share to everyone that I passed PMP just now with 2BP. I just want to encourage those who are preparing for the exam - DON'T give up.

I haven't got enough time to prepare for the exam, only went throught Rita's book once, briandump PMBOK P.43, EV equations, did PMStudy1 two days before the exam (with only 62%), and 4 lite mock from Christopher Scordo (yesterday!).

Luckily I have gone through some LL from this forum which helped me a lot on preparing the exam. Thanks everyone!

Congrates Dear, Please share with us good material or Study tips if you have .It really helpfull for other condicates.

I think you are the examples who pass PMP with lowest minimum preparation and with two BPs in the knowledge area where most of the question category falls.

Congratulations egncc - you give me hope! 2BP's and still a PASS - Your result just throws out all the speculation and postulates drafted by the self-proclaimed experts on this forrum - that 2BP's is a definite fail. It just goes to show that Ps, MPs, BPs count does not matter much, the overall questions correct out of 175 matters.

That's my main purpose to let everyone know even if I got 2BP I still managed to pass the exam. Be focus on the overall score! I believe having a "P" on planning saved me. Good luck to you!

Same thing happened to me. I'm also sure I passed due to the proficient I got in M&C.

I don't believe my grades for Executing and Closing were that low (maybe 60%) but I'm sure I aced M&C (I guess around 90%). Even taking into account weighted calculations per area I think my  overall  was above 70%.
