Resource Calendar Query

 As per the PMBOK, Resouce Calendars are inputs of the Estimate Activity Resources, Estimate Activity Duration, and Develop Schedule processes. Resource Calendars are obtained from the Acquire Team process in the Execution process group. I am unable to comprehend how one can have access to resource calendars in the planning phase while planning the schedule before the calendars are made available in the execution phase while acquiring the team. Can someone please explain how the processes Estimate Activity Resources (Estimate Activity Duration, Develop Schedule) and Acquire Team are interelated in view of the above.

Activities in all 5 processes can be parallel. Execution process can start without completing all planning process.

What you are saying may be true in certain types of projects.. but not necessarily for others. Does that imply that some inputs may not not be mandatory. 

 All processes are iterative and may come in every possible sequence as per the need and stuation.

it may vary project to project / with the time.

Forgive my ignorance but I am still not able to wrap my head around this concept. Any other takers for this query?
