Configuration Control Vs Change Control
Hi,
The PMBOK says the following about Configuration Control and Change Control
"Configuration Control is focussed on the specification of both the deliverables and the processes while change control is focussed on identifying, documenting and controlling changes to the project and the product baseline"
Can someone please explain with examples what Configuration control is and how it is different from Change control ?
Change control handles changes to the project (which includes changes to the deliverables and the processess right ?) so how is it different from Configuration control ?
