How am I doing, final 14 days before 1st attempt (PMP)

 Hello all,

Started taking tests  after few months study with only RITA  2 weeks back with scoring under 60% so stopped exams and started studing more. Listend pm prepcast all videos, did more revisions to rita. and started notes from pmzilla (excels) daily. The below are results from last 3 days back -back.

 Techfac360 - 72%
 Exam Central (Free) 65%
 PMStudy(Paid Test) 64%

Am I on right track ?

Been grinding 2-3 hours a day Rita, Pmzilla Notes,PMBOK. Got exactly 15 days before test. Planning to do a test daily.

Also found this very useful : http://www.passionatepm.com/blog/announcement-ppm-launching-pmp-concept-... to refine concepts.

Already purchased pmzilla test but haven't taken yet as confidence is low before.

Any advice as should I speed up or postpone exam to buy more practice ?

Plan is good, you can take PMZilla test, find your gaps, then retake the test. Push your scores to above 70%. you need more study.

PMZILLA  test got exactly 49% (99/200)..bad ?

PMZilla is a very tough test

So its not bad

However, since you have time, you have an opportunity to read more, memorize more stuff and do more tests, So make the most of your time as the more you remember, the more you will be able to apply during exam

Hi,

In addition to going through the PMBOK 4th edition, and the tests, I would also suggest you to take the PMP mock tests of a few other providers such as PMstudy, Simplilearn, etc. This will help you know the different types of questions as well and will also make you prepared for different questions.

got 12 days..but thinking to postpone and take boot camp and postpone exam  ?..feel like almost there but score today came to 60%

 so near..so far

Keep in mind the exams for PMStudy get harder (1-easiest and 4 hardest).. I took the PMStudy bootcamp and did all exams - my lowest score was 69% and I failed the exam. I think consistently getting 80%+ is a guarantee to pass exam.

 Hello,

I don't think you need to be above 80+ in my opinion as I was in the lower 70's with my full 200 question exams (Exam Central, Rita's PMP and Super PMP) . But I do believe that your scores indicate that you need more work. That being said it depends on how much time you can commit in your last week or so regarding rescheduling. I also would not rely simply on retaking prep tests. What I did was make a list of notes on the questions I was missing on the exams to construct a study guide.

Everyone is different and prep scores are not always a clear indicator of how you will do on the exam, however with a 49% I would be concerned.

Good luck
