Passed PMP Today!
April 2nd was my deadline to take the exam, and since I love to push things out as long as possible, I scheduled my exam for today. It was VERY difficult. I spent hours and hours studying and taking practice tests, but I thought the exam was much harder than anticipated. I honestly was worried about passing once I started and saw the questions.
I am usually a fast test taker, and go through the practice exams in about 2 hours. In no way did I think I would sit for the entire 4 hours on this exam. Well, I was already 1 hour into the exam and marked most items to be reviewed and was only at question 70. Had to take a bathroom break and try to calm down. I completed the exam at 3 hours, and thought I would have enough time to review everything I marked. With seconds left I still had SEVERAL questions left for review. My exam ended, my heart was pounding almost outside of my chest, and the seconds leading up to the results seemed like forever!
I finally saw Congratulations!!! I was proficient in Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing. I was Moderately Proficient in Initiation. WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!! :)
Thank you to everyone who contributes to this forum. I have never contributed before, but all of your tips helped me study. I definitely agree with reading Head First to make the concepts easy, and then following with PMBOK. I got an 85% on the Head First exam yesterday and felt a little more confident about the exam, but honestly it was harder than both Head First and pmstudy.
I believe what saved me was EV. There were TONS of calculation questions, and I spent hours in the library yesterday practicing that. My tip to anyone out there preparing is to go through as many practice EV questions as you can. Also Communication channels and PERT.
Good luck everyone!

Congratulations!! Need some advise
I am currently preparing for my exam scheduled on May3rd. I have exactly one month left.
So far I have read PMBO only once and I have taken a simulation test where I have scored upto 50%.
I am also reading Rita's book. I plan to PMBOK one more time and Rita's book twice.
I want to pass my PMP exam in FIRST attempt.
My question:
At this stage, is one month enough to prepare for final exam, given I put in 8 hrs of study everyday or should I reschedule my exam for end of May. Unable to make that decision right now.
Whats the best way to remember ITTO's and EV formulae?
Any idea how many questions were on ITTO's and formulae based.
How many situational problems were there?
How many simulation tests did you take and what was your score like before taking the final exam?
I would highly appreciate any tricks/tips to study.
Please advise.
Thanks
