PMP certification after July 2013

Hi,


I came to know from PMI, that after July 2013 there will be a change in PMP certification. Got to know that PMBOK 5th edition will be released for certification. Can anyone let me know if there will be a change in the exam pattern itself?


I've not yet started the application process itself so far. Is it advisable to wait till July 2013 and then apply for exam? I am aiming at atleast 3-4 months of preparation for the certification.

Try to get your PMP with current PMBoK Edition. It will be easier as lot of material is already available. New format is not radically different., so there is no big risk in case you want to go slow and take exam after July. 2013
