Passed

Dear all , I have learnt a lot of tips from this forum (thank you)

And now it is time to shear my own PMP LL.

I have passed the exam on 15 of March with 1P and 4MP in Munich, Germany.

My preparation started in October with carefully going through Rita.

In November and December I have read the PMBOK for the first time and went through some areas in Rita.

At that time I have come to the good explanation for the CPM from Headfirst and decided that I have to buy this book alsoJ.

In my opinion the best preparation approach is first Headfirst and after that PMBOK.

Due to my full (over) time job, I could invest only about 1-1,5 hours during the week and 4 hours on Sunday. The last two weeks I have taken some time off and I was able to learn around 6 hours per day.

I thought of scheduling the exam on 15 January, but decided to be sure of my preparation and not demotivate from some possible fail. So I have scheduled my exam for 15 of March having in mind that I have also enough time to redo until July.

I have done all the Rita Test, Scordo, Headfirst and PMstudy (all).

My results were between 70-75 % on PMStudy

80% on HeadFirst

70-80% on Rita and Scordo.

I am a civil engineer and for my Master degree have passed around 55 exams but I can say that PMP was really a challenge for meJ.

There were some strange rules in the exam center, I was not allowed to take my water in the room, I was not allowed to take off my jacket and put it on my chair and so on. If you want really to examine the real situation, try to take a full mock test without doing a break for WC and without drinking Water/Coffee.

The exam was tough, it was very close to PMStudy but may be around 25% harder. There were a lot of questions for EVM, CPM, schedules, and a lot of ITTO. I did not memorize the ITTO.

I have done some 2-3 minutes break on the chair only to concentrate. The exam took me 3:45 and I had also time to go through the marked questions.

For me the most important thing is to keep concentrate for these 4 hours.

Good luck!

Prost und Grüße aus Deutschland

Silvia
