Identify Stakeholders

Which is the INPUT for Identify Stakeholders process :

a. Requirements Documentations

b. Stakeholder Management Strategy

c. Stakeholder Register of previous project

d. Communication Managment Plan.

The answer is c.

Because, the stakeholder register of previous project is an organization process asset, and this assist the PM

in the approach towards the stakeholders. Other three options are all project documents and subsidary plans

of PMP, and they are not prepared during this process.

I will go with Option A - Requirements documentation.  Based on this you will identify who will influence, get affected while meeting all the requirements of the project.  The stake holder on another previous project may have different agenda specific to that project and may/may not have any bearing on this project.

Chandra,

With due regards to your reasoning, I did not understand how a planning process output can be an input to an initiation process?

Thanks

All the 5 processes are iterative in nature and coninuously keep evolving as the project progresses and provide inputs to other relevant processes.  e.g. Developing Project Charter - an initiation process - takes input from contracts - which is not developed and available during the initial stages of the project.  Similarly your preliminary scope statement available during the initiation process is not exhaustive and as the scope is evolved your project charter needs to be updated

As per PMBoK, 10.1.1.4 - It is Stakeholder registers from Previous Projects
