Control Chart question

Can someone please explain me with explanation for the below qquestion,

Project process needs to be adjusted to below,

1. Below mean

2. above mean

3.below LCL

4. above LCL

All options are wrong the best possible guess from the available option is "above the LCL"

All the values below mean, above mean and above LCL seems reasaonable and are okay

I think its below LCL-option3)

Hi All, thanks for responding.

I am still not sure why its below LCL. Because project process will be adjusted when its out of control (7 consecutive pts) that means if the progress is shown on the mean or below or above mean. If answer is below LCL, which means above mean. Please clarify.

so when its below LCL or above UCL its need to be controlled.

so think like LCL is -5 (in -ve y axis) and UCL is +5 ((+ve y axis)

so when its in between LCL and UCL its under control

but when below LCl say at -7  tehn its out of controlled and need to be adjusted.

Below LCL basically means that your point is beyond the limitsof the specification boundaries that your project has described for.

Remember process needs to be adjusted not only for 7 consecutive points but also for any point that is outside of control limits that you have defined to control your project quality. In this case since the recordings are below the LCL you need to look into the process for what has gone wrong for why such sudden change in behaviour? This is also called as special cause for which process needs to be adjusted.
